It was a star-studded affair. Actress Jennifer Lawrence married her love-turned fiance Cooke Maroney in a lavish function in Rhode Island on Saturday 19 October 2019. The couple arrived at the destination one day before the wedding ceremony.

In Rhode Island, the marriage function was held at the luxurious Belcourt of Newport mansion which is owned by Alex and Ani CEO Carolyn Rafaelian. This mansion was designed and constructed in 1894 and Louis XIII’s hunting lodge at Versailles was the inspiration for the style and architecture.

Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning in her wedding gown designed by Dior. The gorgeous couple had a reception in which 150 of their celebrity friends and relatives attended. The list included Emma Stone and Amy Schumer (Jennifer’s best friends), Kris Jenner, Adele, and Sienna Miller.

There was a rehearsal dinner at Rose Island. Here, the couple played host to 140 guests which included  Director David O Russel, Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen, Cameron Diaz, and Joel Madden. Bradley Cooper who is Jennifer’s work husband was also present on the occasion.

Jennifer and Cooke have been linked romantically since June 2018. After months of wonderful courtship, they engaged in February 2019. In a recent podcast interview Naked With Catt Saddler, the blonde beauty had gushed over her beau Cooke. She said:

“He’s the greatest human being I’ve ever met,”

She added:

“He really is, and he gets better.”

When asked about her decision to walk down the aisle with Cooke, Jennifer said:

“I don’t know, I started with the basics,”

“How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind? It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
